I'm linking up here.
1. BOTH of my teams lost this weekend. And ironically, both lost to Missouri teams. BOO MISSOURI!
On Friday night, the Rangers lost in game 7 of the World Series to the Cardinals. Although the Rangers lost, they've had an incredible season and I'm still so proud to be a Rangers fan! They won more games this year than they have in club history and have made two consecutive trips to the World Series. That is something to be proud of!
And on Saturday, my Aggies (at the time ranked #16 in the nation) lost to Missouri (an unranked team) 38-31 in overtime. You may think - if the game went into overtime it must have been a great game. Wrong. We were up 28 to 17 at the half and score a whole 3 points in the 2nd half. Absolutely horrible. All I can say is A&M better get their act together before we play Oklahoma this weekend and Kansas State the next. Always love my Aggies, but this weekend was disappointing.
The state of Missouri completely broke my heart this weekend and I'm completely over sports. Ugh.
2. I broke my toe this weekend. Ugh. I accidentally kicked our stainless steel trashcan in the kitchen {darn small apartment kitchens!!}
| it looks much better now. still very painful though |
4. Since I was completely broken hearted this weekend from my teams letting me down, Corby took me shopping Saturday evening. No better way to cure heartbreak than with a little retail therapy!
I bought a new pair of boots. {Yes, I now have like 12 pairs. But they're all so different!} I bought boot socks, black jeggings and two new sweaters! Thanks, hunny for the mini shopping spree!
5. I made pumpkin snickerdoodles last night. YUM!

6. And this time next week, Corby and I will be packing to head to Vegas!!! YAY! {PS. If you have any Vegas advice, I'd love to hear it! We've never been!}
7. I'm only 10 followers away from my awesome giveaway!! So follow me and maybe you'll win!!
That just about sums up my weekend. Sorry for the not-so-exciting, text heavy post.
Happy Monday, everyone! Enjoy passing out candy to your neighborhood kids while I curl up on the couch with my Monday night TV with the lights off in hopes that no one bothers me. {Just call me the Scrooge of Halloween}
