Weekend Recap

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

Today is dragging by sooo slooowly.... I'm still so exhausted from this weekend.
But.... It was a great weekend!

On Friday, my mom and I worked all day getting ready for the craft show on Saturday. It was a busy, long day {and night}. We finished everything up sometime after midnight and woke up at 5 am on Saturday to get ready, load the car and head to Cleburne for the show.

I sold 8 signs on Saturday. Some custom orders and some were pre-made {either blank to add a name or a quote}. I also sold two TuTus and one bow holder.

Many people took my business cards and were interested in my Etsy shop. Overall, I call it a huge success! There weren't as many people at the craft show as I hoped there would be, but I guess that's to be expected at a small town craft show.

my "Let her sleep..." sign was the most popular thing I had at my booth

the leopard print and zebra print signs were also popular

I am excited to do another craft show. Hopefully one that is a little bit bigger and closer to home. :)

In other news...

Corby and I went to see The Hunger Games yesterday afternoon.. We really had no intention of seeing the movie over the weekend since we both hate crowded movie theaters and hate waiting in line. {impatient much?!}
But....
As the weekend moved on, I just couldn't wait any longer and since the movie was playing on 5 screens at the theater by our house, I convinced him to go! And I'm so glad we did!
Seriously, I don't think I've been this excited about a movie. Ever.

I loooved the movie! Of course, as always, the book was wayyy better! BUT, I thought they did a great job of hitting most of the high points in the movie. Parts of the movie made me dizzy and almost nauseous. And I was super nervous/anxious while watching, even though I knew what was going to happen. Overall, I thought it was amazing and I was super impressed with the casting, costumes, etc. {How fun would it be to get to think up and design the wardrobe, hair and makeup for the people of The Capital?!}

I can't wait for Catching Fire to come out!!!!!!

Did you see the movie? What were your thoughts?

And now, it's 2:30 in the afternoon and I am soooo tired and ready for today to be over. Come on 5:00!

Love your craft show setup!!! Glad it was a success :)

I felt the exact same way about Hunger Games. Loved it but loved the book more. And I was pretty nauseus thru most of the movie. I want to buy it when it comes out and watch it at home...I think I wont feel so terrible then!

Love your setup! It looks amazing! I saw the Hunger Games this past weekend and thought it was great as well. I also got the nauseous/dizzy feeling and had to close my eyes a couple times. Overall though, it was awesome!
