I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend.
We had a good weekend. Friday night, we attended the Cross Service at our church. And as always, it was beautiful and moving. And so many people came to know the Lord that night. What an incredible thing!

Saturday, I bought new running shoes. Finally!
I went to Luke's Locker and with some guidance, I decided on these bad boys....

After I purchased my spiffy new running shoes, I headed to the grocery store. And on my way, I saw something very strange...
I'm very aware that it was Easter weekend, but this guy was just wondering down the street.
I consider grown men dressed up as bunnies to be as terrifying as clowns. Creepy.
Anyhoo...
I spent Saturday afternoon baking/cooking in preparation for Easter with Corby's family.
I made...
Deviled Eggs
And Banana Pudding, that I didn't get a picture of.
Corby's Easter basket was by the door waiting for him when he got home from work on Saturday night. Complete with Rangers glasses and baseballs in honor of opening weekend!
| Snickers eggs are his favorite! |
Sunday morning we drove to Coolidge, Texas to spend Easter with his grandmother.
She's been really sick {and just beat cancer for the 4th time, praise the Lord!} so it was really good to be able to spend some time with her!!
{Major blogger fail, I took zero pictures of us on Easter Sunday}
On our way home, a thunderstorm rolled through. As soon as the storm subsided, the sky was beautiful!
Looks almost like a painting!
That just about sums up our weekend.
Yesterday I was home sick with some awful stomach virus. Nooo fun. I'm back and work today and feeling a little better, but I still feel soo exhausted.
But... While I was camped out on the couch yesterday, there was a knock on the door and it was a UPS guy delivering this little lovely....
I can't wait to wear it! :)
That's all for today! Don't forget to enter my Shabby Apple giveaway!!!
Happy Tuesday!

I'm so jealous that you got your necklace! I'm still patiently (sort of) waiting for mine!!!! :(
I have those same Brooks. Love them!
Beautiful necklace! What a wonderful Easter service, Easter with family, and avoiding a scary looking wandering Bunny and thunderstorm. The Bunny did make me giggle a little...
Happy seeing beautiful!
