Been there, done that and I'm veryy happily married to this guy...

Basically, I'm gonna tell you a little about myself. Quickly. Ha.
Here we go....
* I am a Christian. My true identity rests in the redemption and work of Jesus Christ in my life.
* On August 7, 2010, I married Corby Mayes. He's my best friend, my other half and he always knows how to put a smile on my face. I'm learning every day what it means to be a Godly wife.
* I am a Texas girl. Every little bit of me. I like to consider myself part country girl and part city girl. I feel very much at home at the ranch.

* I am a total book worm. I've been known to put life completely on hold and live vicariously through characters in a book. I've also been known to read 2 or more books in a week. {sad, I know}
* I hate feet. Despise them. And I cannot stand it when people touch my feet. It creeps me out.
* I put ranch dressing on everything.
* I am a proud Aggie. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 with a degree in Communications and Journalism. I also met my hubby at A&M :)

* I think sweet tea runs though my veins.
* I have my own craft business/Etsy shop: Joyful and Chic!
* I am the Communications and Membership Director for a non-profit organization here in Fort Worth.
* I love to bake {and cook}. Spending time in my kitchen is sort of a creative outlet for me.
*Friends is my absolute favorite TV show. Of all time. I have all 10 seasons on DVD and have watched them countless times. I can quote every episode. Obsessed? Maybe.
* I've been known to scream in my sleep. Scary, I know. Fortunately, it doesn't happen too often, but it has happened several times since Corby and I have been married. {No one has ever said anything about it before. I shared a room with someone my freshman and sophomore year in college, so maybe this is a recent development??}
* I am terrified of the dentist.
* I did ballet for 18 years. I also danced competitively for about 8 years. I really miss it. And you can bet money that if there's a show on TV about dance, I watch it.

SO stoked to have won!! And seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE Friends. I think I watch at least an episode a day even though I have seen them all multiple times! I randomly quote Friends in conversations & Will doesn't even have to ask anymore!! :)

I live right outside of FW :) We just moved here last year from California. I don't think I'll ever get used to Texas! And we definitely have a Friends obsession in common. I've been watching it since I was a kid and also have all 10 seasons on DVD. In 7th grade we did a group test and the bonus question was name all 6 characters and the coffee shop where they hang out. No one else on my team knew, but I did! And we won. I love useless knowledge ;)
