From Blog Life to Real Life

Ello, friends!

The sun is shining and what a great thing that is!

Soo... This little blogosphere is a pretty great thing. But if you're not an avid blogger (or blog follower) then you really just don't get it.

My husband thinks I'm crazy. But he's gotten used to hearing the same names over and over again. I talk about my bloggie "friends" like they're my IRL BFFs! And now I think if he doesn't recognize the name of the person I'm talking about, he assumes it's someone from blogland.

And my parents think that I might get kidnapped or molested for sharing so much of my life on the internet. They clearly don't understand the genuine friendships that can come from blogging.

Here we go...

1. Do you have any real life blog friends?

I do! Amy and I were good friends from A&M! And I was actually friends with her husband in high school! This sweet girl (and her hubby) were at my wedding. I'm so thankful for her friendship!

Are you jealous of our sexy Santa outfits?

Leslie and I are friends via our hubbies! Her hubby and my hubby were
fraternity brothers at A&M! :)

Madison and I are also friends! Go check out her blog! She's a total doll!

2. Which blogger are you just dying to meet?

There are several! Annie is my inspiration for about 85% of the meals I cook. And I love me some Pink Lou Lou! And lucky me, I get to meet and hang out with Lindsey in a couple weeks!

I'd also love to meet some of my fellow Texas bloggers: Steph, Kristen, Michelle, etc.

3. Which blogger's closet do you want to raid?

There are several. Again, Pink Lou Lou. I'd also like her hair/make up skills! And Katie and Steph's closets too! Can I just combine all 3 of their closets to form one dream closet?

4. You are stuck on an island. Which blogger would you want with you to help you survive?

I think Raven would be great to have when stranded on an island. She could totally keep me entertained! Annie would feed me well. And between what Steph and I have learned from our country, hunting husbands, we'd probably be good to go!

5. The first blogger you remember "meeting" and connecting with?

For the first 6 months or so of my blogging "career," I had NO idea what I was doing. Once I finally go the hang of this, I reached out to Katie and Chelsea when I needed guest bloggers when my dad had lung surgery last fall. So I'd have to say that they were the first bloggers I really "met" and connected with!

6. Any blogger that you admire and look up to?

I really look up to Katie, Lindsey, Michelle, Raven and Erin for inspiration! They've really got this blogging thing down and they all have fabulous blogs!

7. Who is the craziest/funniest blogger?

Raven is hilarious. She never ceases to make me smile! Erin also does a great job of making me laugh! Lindsey is pretty darn funny too! (Can't wait to meet her soon!) PLL and Sadie Belle keep me laughin' too! The best part is, everything they say/post seems so real. :)

8. There's a reality television show for bloggers, who would you want to be casted with you?

The list is long... Here we go:

Katie, Lindsey, Steph, Carolyn, Sarah, Kristen, PLL, Chelsea, Shay, Amy, Kristin, and Jess! I can't even begin to imagine the fun that would be had!

9. Some bloggers have really cool jobs, anybody you like to swap careers with?

I'd love to switch jobs with Raven or Nicole (or anyone with a similar job). They're both stay at home mommies and I pray that when Corby and I have kids, that I'll be able to stay at home with my babies :) I also think it would be cool to be a photographer or have a career in the cooking/baking field.

10. Favorite blog design?
I think Katie's blog design is one of my favorites! It's so clean and classy!
