I want to give you a brief update on my Weight Watchers journey. As you may know, I started WW last Monday (today marks day 9). And so far I am loving it!
Growing up, I was a ballet dancer. I never in my life had to watch what I ate. I danced at least 4-5 days a week, for 3+ hours at a time. I never dieted or was even aware of what I was eating due to the fact that I was sooo active.
Well, unfortunately, as soon as I stopped dancing at age 20, my metabolism slowed way down, but my eating habits never changed. I never really noticed the weight gain until this last year. I've tried various diets before, but ya'll, girlfriend likes food. Diets always discourage me and I give up with in a few days of starting.
Enter Weight Watchers.
It's all about portion control. I can eat what I want and don't have to deprive myself of the things I love (Chick-fil-A is my weakness). Last week I did so good. I never once went over my allotted points and I ate Chick-fil-A once and Mexican food once.
And as of Sunday, I have lost 5 pounds!
Five pounds in 7 days. I am so encouraged to keep going!

If you're thinking about dieting or trying to lose some weight, I highly suggest trying Weight Watchers! For someone who is 100% anti-diet, this has worked wonderfully for me!
