...I'm addicted to Netflix.
Phew. It feels so good to get that off my chest.
The first step is admitting the problem, right?
It was a genius move by Netflix to stream TV shows (and movies) instantly.
And our new(ish) smart TV and our wireless blu-ray player have just enabled my addiction.
I have found many new TV shows that I'm addicted to. Some of which I've caught up and I'm impatiently waiting for the new seasons to start this fall.
Here's some of my new favs.
The Vampire Diaries
Season 4 starts this October and I'm impatiently waiting for season 3 to come to Netflix. I want to catch up so I can watch the new season live this fall. And seriously, are these not the most beautiful people you've ever seen? Ian Somerhalder? I die.
I think the 5th season just ended this summer. And I believe Mad Men has been renewed for a 6th season. We are only on season 2, but this show is addictive. And annoying. I want to slap some of these people for all of their sleeping around. But, alas, it is entertaining television.
I just recently started Gossip Girl. And holy cow! I am addicted!! How have I been missing out on this for the last five years?!? I keep going back and forth on my love/hate for various characters (mainly Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass). This show definitely keeps me on my toes. The 6th and final season airs on the CW this October. I hope that Netflix adds season 5 before then so I can catch up and be ready to watch the last season live.
Corby and I just started White Collar last night. We've only watched one episode, but it's something that we can watch together. (Surprisingly, Corby isn't a fan of Vampire Diaries or Gossip Girl) And I will not complain watching something with Matt Bomer. If you haven't watched this show, I encourage you to do so. It's quite funny. And I love Matt Bomer's character!
So there you go. My addiction is out for the world to see.
Do you watch any of these shows?
