It's Fall, y'all!
And it actually feels like fall in DFW! High of 78 today!
LOVE!
Here are some things that are on my fall bucket list.
Things I say we're going to do every year, but always put off!
It's gonna happen this year. Mark my words!
1. Go to a pumpkin patch
2. Carve pumpkins
we carved these a few years ago
3. Go to the State Fair
{y'all, I've lived in Texas for 27+ years and I've never been to the State Fair}
Who doesn't want to try all your favorite foods {and bevies} deep fried?!
4. Bake an Apple Pie and a Pumpkin Pecan Pie
5. Pick apples at a local orchard
Obviously, I'll nee apples for my apple pie!
6. Go to the Fort Worth Zoo
Corby and I both love going to the zoo. But it's too hot {and too crowded} during the summer! And the Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top zoos in the country!
7. Make s'mores
Roasted marshmallows and melted chocolate? There's nothing better!
8. Finish my Christmas shopping
Yep. I want to be DONE with my Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving!
I successfully did this last year and have high hopes of doing it again!
And yes, I've already started!

Ok come on! I dont make it to the state fair every year but you HAVE to go at least every other year. I dont even like cornydogs any other time of year but I crave one from Fletchers. Texas State Fair is the best and i really hope you get there this year. :)
GIRL. I'm an Arkansan and I've been to the TX State Fair eight times :) then again, I was born a Sooner so I've had a reason to be there ...

I marked two Christmas presents off of my list this past weekend! So glad to know that I am not the only one who starts early :)
Fall is my favorite season! These are great "to-dos" especially a pumpkin patch. I love taking Reese to them. I always get really good pics. And where are you going to find an apple orchard!!! I would seriously kill for a fletcher's corn dog. Please eat one for me!!!

Don't feel bad. Last year was the first year I ever went to the State Fair and I was 28 and I have lived in Texas my whole life! I'm starting to get on this bandwagon of buying Christmas presents early so I can spread it out with several paychecks.
I try to finish Christmas shopping by the beginning of December (although I think this baby may put a wrench in those plans). Love your bucket list.
I'm coming home next weekend and I can't WAIT to go to the fair!!
