Gruene Wine & Music Fest

Remember that time I went to Gruene, Texas with Corby's family for the Gruene Wine & Music Fest? Yeah, me either. Since this recap is coming almost TWO weeks later!

Better late than never, right?

We got to New Braunfels on Friday night in time for dinner and in time to watch the Rangers lose to the Wild Card game to the Baltimore Orioles. {Boo}

Saturday morning we got up and headed into Gruene for the wine fest. It was a beautiful day and we all had a blast and maybe a little too much wine. :)

After about 4 hours of wine tasting, yummy food and live music, we decided to head back to our condo to watch some football and take a nap. 

The A&M vs. Ole Miss game started at 6:00 and we wanted to try to find a bar/restaurant where we could watch the game. Unfortunately, our options were limited and we ended up eating dinner at The Gristmill and keeping up with the game on our phones. PS. The Ags won!

Sunday morning, we checked out of our condo and decided to go exploring. We ended up at Landa Park to feed the ducks and walk along the Comal River.

We had a such a great time with family! I just love Gruene/New Braunfels!
