Happy Thursday!
And happy November!
I'm here to answer question 4 of my 30 Things list.
{I answered question 1 here and questions 2 and 3 here}
Questions 4: List 10 things that you could tell your
16-year-old self, if you could.
Ohh the things I would tell myself... I was such a naive teenager.
One. At 16-years-old, you're still a kid. Don't forget that and enjoy it.
Two. Even thought it's hard to believe, you're parents really do know best. Listen to
them and respect them.
Three. The girls who you consider to be your best friends, will hardly be considered friends in 4 years. And it's ok. You'll meet life long friends in college.
Four. Remember when you said you can't wait to get out of College Station? You'll end up staying in CS to go to A&M and you'll love every minute of it. And when you finally do move away, you'll miss it every day.
Five. There is a boy who will completely break your heart in a year or so. And it's ok. God is preparing your heart to meet Corby Mayes in college.
Six. Don't let the "mean girls" get to you. You're stronger than you know.
Seven. You don't have to wear Abercrombie clothes to be cool. Stop trying to fit in when you were born to stand out.
Eight. You are NOT fat.
Nine. I know that high school comes easy for you. But take the time to study and do your very best. Knowing how to really study will come in handy in college.
Ten. You're only a sophomore right now, but prepare yourself. Your senior year of high school will be one of the hardest years of your life. You'll learn from it and it will help mold you into a stronger version of yourself.
{I was such a baby!}
What would you tell your 16-year-old self?

HOW PRESH! I loved these pics of you!!! I never wanted to leave college, but I do not miss studying. There are so many things I'd tell my 16 year old self. I don't even know where to begin. Number one though is def YOU ARE NOT FAT.
these are so great!! Totally agree with the parents one and abercrombie hahaha. And also I would ad something to me about not thinking every guy you date will be your husband!
Oh my gosh you look so young! :)
I agree with all those things. It's so easy to look back, wishing you knew what you did now then, but we're the people we are now because of it.
This post is amazing! I would definitely tell myself not to worry about the boys I dated and that I wasn't fat! I'd kill to be the size I was at 16, now!
Number 9 is definitely what I would tell myself :-) Amen!
